PURPOSE

The FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) Procurement & Design Leader is in charge of all aspects of standardizing, selecting and managing the FF&E elements relating to the Acquisitions and Development Department’ renovation and construction projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Lead all efforts in the management and coordination of FF&E standardization, selection and installation at National Church Residences properties.

Determine FF&E budgets for the Development Project Leaders for the purpose of funding application submissions.

Maintain and monitor FF&E budgets through the course of building/renovation process.

Manage all aspects relating to FF&E procurement and installation, including vendor and product selection.

Act as key liaison between the Construction Department, Housing Operations and Healthcare Operations in all matters relating to FF&E.

Manage, update and maintain the National Church Residences Design Standards and monitor Architect compliance to these Standards.

Provide leadership and assistance to Housing Operations in the establishment of national vendor accounts relating to flooring, paint, furnishings and other procurement initiatives.

Maintain the National Church Residences “RPL Transition Tasklist”, file emails, schedules and other FF&E-related documents in Starta & maintain DAPR timecard tracking.

EXPECTATIONS

Successfully manage the FF&E budget and installation schedule for each project assigned.

Perform in accordance with the functions listed when performing the duties of FF&E Coordinator.

JOB SPECIFICATION

Education: Bachelors Degree

Experience: 3-5 years of interior design and management experience preferably in the field of multi-family affordable housing or a related field.

Mental: Must have good communication, comprehension, computer and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to speak, read, write and understand English.

Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Well organized and able to manage and prioritize projects/tasks; Ability to create and manage multiple budgets and schedules; Ability to work with various stakeholders in order to gain consensus and provide positive outcomes; Ability to research and procure FF&E vendors; Ability to provide and manage self-created project tracking and analysis documentation; Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel as required for this position.
