Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and personable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be adept in maintenance duties including painting, drywall, light plumbing, and electrical work, possess excellent problem-solving abilities, and demonstrate strong communication skills. This role requires a self-motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on work environment and is committed to providing high-quality service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct routine and emergency maintenance of plumbing and electrical systems.

· Diagnose and troubleshoot issues efficiently and effectively.

· Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards.

· Maintain a proactive approach to prevent potential issues.

· Be available on-call according to a rotating schedule

· Foster positive interactions and relationships with residents and staff.

· Keep accurate records of maintenance work conducted.

· Utilize Real Page software for maintenance requests and record-keeping (experience preferred but will train).

Requirements:

· Proven experience in maintenance with knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Knowledge of Real Page property management software is a plus.

· Must hold a valid driver's license.

· Ability to participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance requests.

· Must display a positive demeanor and ability to interact well with residents and staff.

· High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational schooling preferred.
