Process Engineer

TGC Search is partnered with one of our top clients in the Green Bay, WI area looking to add their next Process Engineer to the team in a direct hire/full-time position.

You will be an integral part of the team, you'll be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards. We're seeking individuals with expertise in plastics engineering, hands-on experience in blow molding or plastic extrusion equipment, and a proven track record in project management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive cost savings through Lean Manufacturing processes such as Six Sigma methodology and Kaizen and various process improvement tactics.

Analyze and evaluate existing processes and workflows to identify gaps in the production process and develop solutions to optimize our manufacturing process.

Assess compliance and adherence to safety and quality standards, report/document, and propose solutions as appropriate.

Create and manage process documentation and operating instructions through performing process simulations, risk assessment, and testing to eliminate time and cost constraints.

Troubleshoot problems associated with manufacturing processes

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Plastics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

3-5 years of hands-on engineering experience.

Demonstrated project management skills in product development or process improvement.

Experience with blow molding or plastic extrusion processing preferred.

Ability to provide strategic guidance on manufacturing options for new business opportunities, emphasizing cost-effectiveness, process optimization, and quality control.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
