This Facilities Manager position is in support of the Naval Sea Systems Command Code 03S (NAVSEA 03S) Digital Industrial Operations (DIO)Navy Maritime Maintenance Enterprise Solution (NMMES) Program.

NMMES is composed of IT systems, applications, networks, and data centers that serve as business operations and financial management tools for over 45,000 users executing Navy ship and submarine maintenance, overhaul, and repair at facilities across the United States and worldwide.

The Facilities Manager will support the NMMES Program Office as part of the Infrastructure and Operations Support Team in Norfolk, VA.

Position expectations and duties include the following:

Performs operational facilities management duties to ensure the proper security, health safety, and fire safety task are completed in accordance with government policies and regulations.

Duties include providing access control and tracking, personnel training documentation, security system monitoring, ensure facility maintenance issues are addressed, conduct inspections, coordinate ad-hoc building preparation activities, provide for the secure storage of information, and aid in the relocation of facility hardware.

Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.

Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

May lead and direct the work of others.

Required Skills and Experiences:

At least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Must be a U.S. citizen.

A secret security clearance.
