Job Summary:
The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), a division of The American Nurses Association (ANA), is experiencing progressive International growth, and we are seeking to hire a Project Manager who will oversee the coordination, collaboration and implementation of ANCC's international existing and expansion business lines (Magnet®, Pathway to Excellence® and Accreditation). As the Project Manager you will be required to possess a deep understanding of project management principles and methodologies, credentialing in healthcare, and preferably knowledge of the nursing field but not required.

In this role as Project Manager, you will contribute to strategic planning and initiatives, and collaborate on innovating how we expand and implement programs and processes efficiently and effectively. You will also be a passionate advocate for these Nursing programs as we extend ANCC's reach and influence internationally.
What you will do:
Lead and manage international expansion projects
Collaborate with global healthcare professionals, marketing, and other stakeholders from executives to individual contributors
Apply best practices in healthcare credentialing to international opportunities
Navigate and comply with international healthcare regulations and standards
Coordinate cross-functional teams across diverse cultural and international backgrounds
Identify, review, and select vendors or consultants to meet project needs:
Assign duties or responsibilities to project staff
Confer with project staff to identify and resolve problems
May manage sub-contractors and their workforce
Monitor project costs to stay within budget
Monitor project milestones and deliverables
Propose, review, and approve modifications to project plans
Produce and distribute project documents
Education:
Bachelor's degree required (business management preferred)
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Related Work Experience:
Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience leading and managing international expansion teams
Skills Required:
Proven experience in project management
Experience working in international settings, Middle East and/or Europe strongly preferred
Experience with credentialing, ideally in a healthcare setting
Exceptional verbal and written communication, collaboration, leadership and presentation skills
Ability to adapt to diverse cultural environments
Deep experience with clients and prospective clients to assess, determine and communicate project requirements and objectives
Develop project plans to include information such as objectives, funding, schedules, and staffing needs
Multilingual experience and knowledge is a plus
Additional Information:
May require occasional (quarterly) overnight domestic and international travel
Work Schedule:
Hybrid employees must work a minimum of 20% in the office.
