The Role
We are looking for a motivated and pump and tank foreman. The foreman will be tasked with leading and managing a crew in order to complete projects such as UST and AST installs/removals/upgrades (from entire fueling facility to spill bucket replacements), soil remediation, confined space tank cleaning, piping install, etc.
In short… services surrounding above ground and underground petroleum tank systems. This position will be based in the Richmond, VA area.
Responsibilities
Establishes and maintains a safe work environment
Follow standard industry regulations and manufactures recommendations.
Manage and lead a construction crew efficiently with clear and precise instructions
Clear communication with the crew, the project manager and the client.
Ensure all equipment and material is acquired for reach project.
In a physical condition to work along side his crew.
Install/Remove/service above ground and underground petroleum tanks
Work with threaded steel pipe, flex piping and fiberglass piping
Be familiar with industry material and equipment (STP’s, Dispensers, etc…)
The following experience is a plus:
Heavy equipment operating experience
Computers, Excel, Word etc.
Concrete experience
Electrical experience
Requirements and Skills
Ability to pass security background checks for Federal Facilities
Have a clean driving record
Have minimum of 5 year’s experience as a tank technician
Work in diverse environments such as confined space, trenches, heights, etc.
Working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
Occasional overnight travel as well as extended work shifts.
Must be able to wear a face mask
Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
CDL required
Must be able to pass DOT physical
