As a Senior Tax Manager you will oversee worldwide tax compliance and play a pivotal role in strategic tax planning for global expansion.

Roles & Responsibilities • Oversee preparation and filing of tax returns for corporate income tax, VAT/GST, and other relevant taxes across jurisdictions.

• Develop tax planning strategies to optimize the company's position, minimize risks, and maximize savings.

• Lead transfer pricing documentation, including policies and agreements to support arm's length pricing.

• Ensure timely compliance with tax laws, advising on legislative changes and potential impacts.

• Prepare tax provisions and disclosures for financial reporting under IFRS.

• Provide strategic tax recommendations for business initiatives like mergers, acquisitions, and international expansion.

• Collaborate with teams to assess tax implications of new products and activities, aligning with company goals.

• Manage transfer pricing compliance across jurisdictions, adhering to OECD guidelines and local regulations.

• Offer guidance on international tax matters, including permanent establishment issues and treaty interpretation.

• Identify and mitigate tax risks associated with business operations.

• Manage tax audits and controversies, collaborating with external advisors for favorable outcomes.

• Implement tax compliance controls to enhance the company's tax risk management.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to the tax team, fostering a collaborative culture.

• Foster cross-functional collaboration and knowledge-sharing to enhance tax function effectiveness.

Experience • 8+ years of tax management experience.

• Experience in preparing or managing Canadian and US corporate tax.

• Experience in leading international tax strategies is a strong asset.

• CPA is a strong asset.
