Data Centre Operations Specialist in ITC Infotech Bengaluru.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Center Operations Specialist to join our team. As a Data Center Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our data center infrastructure, ensuring its optimal performance and availability. This is a full-time position based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Qualifications And Skills

Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent practical experience.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in data center operations and management.

Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage systems, networking, and virtualization.

Experience with data center monitoring and management tools.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good understanding of data center security, compliance, and disaster recovery practices.

Strong communication and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.

Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA, VMware VCP, or equivalent, are preferred.

Roles And Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all aspects of the data center operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Ensure the availability, security, and scalability of the data center infrastructure.

Proactively identify and resolve any issues or potential risks to the data center operations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain data center infrastructure projects.

Monitor and optimize data center performance by conducting regular capacity planning and performance analysis.

Develop and maintain documentation related to data center operations, including standard operating procedures and maintenance schedules.

Coordinate and manage vendor relationships, including procurement of equipment and services.

Implement and enforce data center security, compliance, and disaster recovery protocols.

Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in data center technologies.

Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users as needed.
