JD for Medical Transcriptionist and Coordinator

Transcribe medical reports interpreted by Radiologist.

Coordination with Patients, Doctors and staff.

Experience in transcribing USG, CT, MRI, X-ray, IR and obstetric reports.

Update patient data in medical system database.

Managing patients before, during and after scans.

Filling details of Form F for obstetrics scan.

Update patient data in medical system database.

Review and edit transcribed reports or dictated material for spelling, grammar, clarity,

Consistency and proper medical terminology.

Return dictated reports in electronic form for radiologist review, correction, and signature, for inclusion in patients medical records.

Accuracy in mapping, template selection, putting formats, spellings, making impressions, removing negative points from report etc.

Time out Verification of image count, patient name, identification number, age, sex, date and time of study.

Checking the relevant and adequate clinical details.

Maintain timeframe for the studies.

Prioritization emergency / stat studies.

Use the standard templates, macros and short cuts /auto text.

Maintain patient privacy.

Team work.
