Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

GTS Group is partnering with a global client of ours that designs and manufactures components and products for the aerospace industry.

Due to major project wins, my clients are expanding their electronics division, with five additional resources signed off for 2024, including a Mechanical Design Engineer within the electronic packaging team.

Key requirements for the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer;

Strong commercial experience in designing electronic packaging

Strong experience in CAD packages, most importantly Siemens NX

Understanding of FEA requirements and development tools

Experience of DFM (designing for manufacturing) of low to medium-volume products
