Seeking a Project Manager to join a Project Management Service company who provides excellent construction and real estate consultative services to condominium associations across the DC area. Looking to connect with Project Managers who have 5+ years of construction experience working for either a GC or CM firm on condo association or multifamily capital improvement projects.

The position:

As a Project Manager, you will be tasked with leading projects for their condo association clients in DC. You will be involved in the full lifecycle of the projects from the preconstruction, procurement, design, permitting, zoning, construction/project management, handover, and ongoing support to the client. The projects will consist of major and minor capital improvements to existing condominium buildings and grounds within the DC metro area.

Critical to this role is the ability foster positive relationships with industry vendors, contractors and clients associated to the construction projects you are managing.

You will also be working closely with the company ownership to identify new client opportunities, attending industry networking events, as well as the preparation and presentation of new client proposals.

The mid-long-term strategy off the back of success could be for you to hire direct reports and to be removed from daily management of projects as the team grows.

To be successful in this position, you will need:

5+ years of working for a CM or GC firm where you are taking full ownership of a project delivery.

Proficient understanding and expertise in engaging with condo associations, ideally with capital construction improvement experience.

Strong business acumen with the ability to communicate and develop relationships with multiple vendors including brokers, end client, general contractors, subcontractors and architects.

Desire to be a part of a growing organization which requires hard work and tenacity for the benefit of your long-term career, as well as playing a pivotal role in the development of the company.

Degree in Construction, Architecture, Business or Engineering.

Preference for certifications in CCM or PMP, or the willingness to obtain when you join the organization.

Base salary evaluated on experience.
