Overview:

STONE Resource Group is partnered with a leading company in the telecommunications industry in Northern VA, seeking an experienced individual for a long-term contract position inspecting highway fiber. This role offers a potential path to permanent employment and the opportunity to work on high-impact projects for Amazon.

Project Overview/Impact on the Organization:

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of fiber laying projects on interstate highways, directly impacting the success of Amazon's infrastructure development.

Job Responsibilities:

-Conduct daily inspections of crews laying fiber on highways.

-Ensure quality assurance/control on highway stretches undergoing fiber installation.

-Walk sites to verify compliance with construction codes and standards.

Must-Have Skillsets:

-3+ years of experience in telecommunication infrastructure construction inspection.

-Experience in traffic control on interstate highways.

-Knowledge of heavy highway construction typical on roadway and bridge projects.

Nice-to-Have Skillsets:

-NICET certification.

-Formal training in transportation infrastructure.

Additional Details:

-This is a fully onsite position with day shift hours from 8-5.

-While NICET certification is preferred, candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
