Foreman/Equipment Operator
We are looking for a reliable Foreman/ equipment operator to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
Installation of underground cable and conduit
Rough grading and finish grading
Erosion and sediment control
Knowledge of trenching and shoring standards
Construction of cast in place light pole foundations
Interpreting construction drawings
Keep time and material records
Responsible for safe slopes on excavations and proper barricading;
Knowledge of aggregate sizes and classifications
Locate utilities and other buried lines prior to digging
Operate equipment safely and efficiently
Perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor
Material handling
Teamwork
Safety
Requirements:
Previous equipment operation experience required
Experience operating equipment such as front-end loaders, skid steers, track loaders, articulating loaders, rubber tire wheel loaders, and excavators, strongly preferred
Knowledge of proper safety and maintenance protocols of the equipment aforementioned
Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds or more
Must be able to hand dig
Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions such as heat, cold, snow, rain, etc.
Experience in the commercial site work, trenching, conduit installation, excavation, landscape, hardscape,
Ability to read and write to record daily logs and maintain daily equipment checklists
Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply
High school diploma or equivalent
