LightFeather is currently seeking a Full Stack .NET Web Developer with expertise in VB.NET and ASP.NET. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the lifecycle of software products, from design and development to deployment and support. You will work on developing scalable, high-quality web applications using VB.NET and ASP.NET, and your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of workforce management solutions.

This Position is Full Time, Remote.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using VB.NET and ASP.NET.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.

Implement front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring responsive and user-friendly designs.

Develop back-end services and APIs to support web functionality.

Integrate with databases (e.g., SQL Server) for data storage and retrieval.

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Participate in code reviews, adhering to best coding practices and standards.

Maintain documentation for system architecture and development processes.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the application stack.

Minimum Requirements:

US Citizenship.

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Active IRS clearance is preferrable.

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.

3+ years experience with VB.NET and ASP.NET as a Full Stack Developer.

Proficiency in web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Knowledge of MVC, Web Forms, and Entity Framework.

Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior or current security clearance at the public trust level or above is preferred.

Prior experience or familiarity with workforce management systems.

Experience with AWS cloud platform.

Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

Understanding of UI/UX design principles.
