Summary:

The Commercial Business Risk Manager Senior is responsible for managing compliance with policy and procedure standards, coordinating governance of policies and procedures with Business Unit leadership, and ensuring that governing policies are appropriately disseminated throughout the organization and specifically Asset Finance business unit.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for projects related to risk identified by the Business Unit and others identified by corporate risk, and effectively communicating and coordinating the impacts on Business Unit.

Responsible for aligning and integrated risk standards and expectations with Segment Risk and the Commercial Business Risk Office.

Works with leadership and Legal & Compliance to interpret risk impacts from identified gaps or regulatory changes, and coordinates with each affected department to ensure that appropriate policies and procedures are developed and that management has sufficient information on which to base decisions.

Serves as the principal risk representative to internal and third party examiners on compliance matters for the Business Unit.

Assist with coordination of all internal and third party exams.

Coordinate with the relevant parties in the Business Unit to maintain and implement Business Continuity Plan to ensure recovery time objectives are achieved in the event of plan activation.

Oversees directly or supervises implementing, and providing direction in support of new or revised policies, procedures, integrations, technology and workflow support, in coordination with the Leadership team.

In partnership with the Business Unit, ensures the successful coordination and risk management of maintenance and vendor issues, and the vendor and non-vendor management program.

Provides technical expertise and judgment to implement and monitor modifications to processes in accordance with changes in the regulatory environment.

Provides input and effectively communicates changes to the Risk & Control environment and RCSA Program.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

7 years or more of related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

10 or more years financial institution management, credit, or risk or audit experience.

In depth business segment knowledge and expertise that translates into effective management of all risk pillars, processes and procedures

Experience in Assets based lending, equipment finance, Leasing, public capital, and/or Inventory distribution finance is desirable.
