Our client, an area leader in cosmetic dermatology, is seeking an organized, effective Medical Receptionist to join their team. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the practice to ensure that both physician productivity and patient satisfaction are optimized. This individual will have a professional demeanor, outgoing personality and ability to interface with patients. You must be self-motivated and have the ability to prioritize and manage tasks and workflow from multiple sources to ensure completion in a timely and accurate fashion.

Location: Reston, VA

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8:45A-5:00P ; Friday, 8:45A-3:00P

Pay: $20-22/hr, depends on experience

Job Qualifications

Prior medical office experience is required

Positive, outgoing, friendly demeanor

Basic understanding of patience privacy

Experienced in appointment scheduling, greeting patients, paperwork preparation and patient flow.

Understand the importance and the process for converting cosmetic quotes into procedures including maintenance of the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) patient tracking system for follow up visits.

Ability to improve the day-to-day operational efficiency of the office.

Experience maintaining contracts and deadlines for equipment warranties as well as license expirations.

Excellent verbal, written and problem solving skills.

Organized, personable, responsible, reliable, prompt, courteous, trustworthy, self-motivated and able to multitask effectively.

Great customer service skills.

Positive can do attitude and a great work ethic.
