The Warehouse Technician is responsible for accurately and efficiently receiving, maintaining, handling, repackaging and shipping materials within the warehouse according to written work instructions. Warehouse Technicians are also committed to maintaining safety and HR standards of conduct at all times; meeting or exceeding expected production rates, logging, maintaining, and documenting critical data as specified by the customer; taking direction from Bluegrass management, as well as the customer; and, any other tasks requested by the customer or Bluegrass.

Minimum Position Requirements (Skills & Abilities)
Basic Outlook and Excel experience
Create, read and interpret and suggest improvements of charts, graphs and other data
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Maintain accurate and legible records
Understand detailed verbal and/or written work instructions
Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail
Ability to train on multiple processes and to work in multiple areas on a regular basis
Ability to meet and exceed movement rates while maintaining safety and accuracy
Troubleshooting with a functional understanding of the supply chain process
Cleaning of work area during and following each shift
Organize and stock materials during and following each shift
Ability to read and understand complex and detailed work instructions
Must have steel toes
Essential Functions
The ability to follow detailed processes and complete tasks with minimal supervision
The ability to validate the quality of their work
Demonstrate a functional mechanical aptitude and reasonable amount of hand dexterity and visual acuity
Perform repetitive inspection processes in a standardized pattern
Ability to work from a standing position for up to 10 hours at a time
No restrictions on bending, crouching, kneeling, or mobility
Identify, correct and report any potential safety or quality risks to leadership immediately
Work effectively with others in a fast-paced, team driven environment
Adaptable to change
Must be available and willing to work overtime as required by business needs

Physical Demands
Technicians must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time (up to 12 hours) on unpadded floors and will occasionally be required to bend, reach overhead, crouch, kneel, push/pull and grasp. Additionally, Warehouse Technicians will occasionally be required to lift or carry up to 50 lbs. Eye/hand coordination is also required. Exposure to chemical hazards, electrical hazards, sharp objects/tools, noise and vibration are anticipated. A Warehouse Technician must be able to read and follow detailed processes.
Tools & Equipment Used
Handheld scanning devices and other data collection tools
Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and WMS inventory management systems
Various production tools, including those powered by air pressure
Radios, mirrors, flashlights, micrometers, tape measures, dyes, paints, chemical cleaners, rulers, gauges, micrometers, calipers, hand tools, power tools, air tools, steel toed footwear, safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, and any other tools and equipment required per customer request
Pallet jacks
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Work Experience
Quality Control experience is highly desirable. Customer service skills, communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and are required. Forklift experience and the ability to achieve and maintain forklift certification is a plus.
