Responsibilities:

Completes regular and preventative maintenance on all mechanical equipment according to established schedules and procedures

Coordinate as necessary to handle emergency maintenance and repair issues in a timely and effective manner

Effective communication with millwrights, maintenance workers, and supervisor for transfer of information/instruction during and between shifts or extended overtime

Provide assistance to other Maintenance and Electrical team members when required

Responds to after-hours emergency calls on a rotational basis

Operates in accordance with health and safety practices

Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to

Available to work extended hours or be called in for emergency/critical workplace situations

Teamwork ability

Provide/collect information for improvements and make recommendations

Regular and punctual attendance

Performs other related duties as required

Qualifications:

Experience & Education/Training

Journeyman Electrician or in 4th year of apprenticeship

Three (2) to four (3) years electrical, maintenance, or welder experience in a processing environment is an asset

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proven analytical/problem solving skills
