We are seeking a Construction Estimator with commercial project experience. The ideal candidate will
be very comfortable with numbers and follow all company and government policies, safety rules,
regulations, and laws, and ensure employees abide by the same. Proficient blueprint reading and
interpretations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Leads small to medium estimates or components of large estimates and reviews all associated
bid documents.
Conducts detailed analysis of contract documents and specifications to determine and validate
overall project requirements.
Ensures the completion of full quantity take-offs of all labor, equipment, and materials from
project documents.
Maintain strong desire and ability to complete accurate and complete estimates, meet
deadlines, work well with clients, and add work to the company backlog.
Maintain an honest, trustworthy, team oriented, timely, and dedicated approach. Maintain
information confidentially.
Partner with construction management, field operations, and scheduling teams to continue to
evolve estimating metrics.
Read and understand plans, specifications and other bid documents.
Review documents or consult experts to collect all necessary data
Preparation of detailed reports or bids for submission to appropriate parties
Select advantageous deals by evaluating offers and quotes
Foster relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, architects, etc.)
Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with construction commercial projects
Must be local
Deep understanding of research methodology, data analysis, and estimation metrics
Identify, prioritize and implement alternatives for a solution.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
Must be computer literate in Microsoft, Scheduling, email, etc.
Excellent communication abilities, including writing, speaking and active listening
Organizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization, and multitasking
A good work ethic and strict adherence to safe work practices
Valid drivers license.
Clean driving record.
