Saint Bernadette School in Silver Spring Maryland is seeking a full-time librarian for the 2024-25 school year.

This is a full time role and will report to the Principal.

Job Duties: Understanding of current and emerging trends in librarianship, and familiarity with information resources, both print and electronic, etc. Demonstrate the ability to work effectively and creatively with staff and students in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

The librarian is responsible for curating the school library, collaborating/supporting teachers, and teaching the library curriculum to students from preschool to 8th grade. Ideal candidates have a deep devotion to the Catholic faith, strong research and technology skills, and familiarity with Follett Destiny (our online catalog system).
