Mechanical Engineer

Title : Mechanical Engineer Duration : 12 Months Contract Location : Grand Prairie, TX Job Description: The position is for a highly creative mechanical design engineer to support the development of and to establish design concepts of mechanisms and structures.

Generate and release drawings using CAD software.

Primary job responsibilities include conceptual and detailed mechanical design, tolerance analyses, and performing trade studies.

The individual will be responsible for 2D and 3D engineering documentation creation and initial release, as well as coordination with other engineering and production disciplines for change notices and drawing revisions for producibility and affordability improvements.

Basic Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience Proficiency with CREO (Pro/Engineer) is required.

Experience with developing and interpreting GD&T in accordance with ASME Y14.5 is required.

Experience with PTC Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) releases is required.

Basic Microsoft Office skills are required.
