Learning Services, a Collage Rehabilitation Partners is looking for a Full-Time Recreational Therapist to join our outstanding team in our Lakewood, CO location. Collage Rehabilitation Partners is a growing organization dedicated to excellence, honesty and ethics in the treatment of our clients and each other. For more than 35 years, we’ve developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries. We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries.

Hourly Rate: $34-$37 per hour, based upon experience

Responsibilities:

We have an immediate opening for a Full-Time Recreational Therapist to work with adult traumatic brain injury clients at our program based out of Lakewood, CO. The Recreational Therapist will also be a part of the treatment team to provide home and community services in the area.

This full-time role assists in the development and implementation of a comprehensive recreational program, which includes both group and individual activities in the residence and the community.

This role oversees the individual recreational programs of assigned clients; completes initial assessments, monitors monthly progress, and prepares all necessary discharge plans.

The Therapist also provides minimum to maximum assistance and/or supervision to promote clients’ success in daily living tasks and vocational pursuits, in addition to recreation activities.

Qualifications:

Requirements for the position include:

A bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation, or related field

C.T.R.S. certification is preferred

Experience/willingness to facilitate recreational activities in the residence and community

Excellent planning, writing, organizational and time management skills

The ability to communicate with families, professionals and coworkers

The ability to demonstrate positive client interaction skills is essential

A valid driver's license
