About the Opportunity:

Ellucian is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager, SEO & Web, responsible for managing and optimizing our website to enhance search engine visibility, user experience, and overall performance. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in SEO, web analytics, and project management to redefine and elevate our digital presence.

Where you will make an impact

Strategic Website Project Lead: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scope, timelines, and deliverables in regard to website re-design. Foster seamless workflow coordination with external agencies to maintain project momentum and coherence

In-House SEO Expertise: Act as an in-house SEO specialist, offering valuable insights and guidance to the content and web teams. Stay on top of algorithm changes and industry trends to adapt SEO strategies proactively.

Keyword Research Mastery: Conduct comprehensive keyword research to uncover opportunities for optimizing website content and increasing organic traffic.

SEO Optimization: Oversee all marketing SEO optimization requests and implement on-page SEO best practices. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the website's technical structure is search engine optimized.

Content Strategy and Management: Oversee content strategy and management for SEO, orchestrating the creation and optimization of website content to align with strategic objectives. Manage requests for website content uploads, implementing SEO best practices to enhance search engine visibility and user experience. Develop and maintain a content repository while implementing a systematic content audit process to ensure relevance and quality.

Strategic Link Building: Drive strategic link-building initiatives to bolster the website's authority and credibility within the industry.

Performance Analytics Mastery: Utilize SEO tools and analytics platforms to monitor website performance closely within the B2B SaaS sector. Track keyword rankings, traffic metrics, and user engagement specific to B2B SaaS customers to identify areas for enhancement and optimization tailored to this market segment.

What you will bring

5+ of hands-on website management and SEO experience.

Demonstrated proficiency in spearheading website renovation initiatives.

Proven expertise in optimizing websites for search engines and improving user experiences.

Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Drupal.

Proficient in SEO tools, analytics platforms, web accessibility standards (WCAG), and A/B testing for conversion rate optimization (CRO).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Comprehensive understanding of SEO best practices.

Effective cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work.

Continuous learning mindset to stay current with SEO and web trends.

Experience in website performance optimization and load time improvement.
