HVDC cable production supervisor

WTS Energy is looking for a HVDC cable production supervisor for a great opportunity with our client who is a global company in the cable and optical fiber industry. This role is in Charleston, South Carolina.

Requirements:

-Production monitoring and quality assurance during the production of HVDC land cables.

-Evaluation and review of internal cable manufacturing process protocols provided by cable manufacturer and their process failure mode effect analysis (P-FMEA).

-Actively assist in the preparation of NCR (Non-Conformance Reports)

Qualifications:

-Detailed and long-term experience with XLPE cable manufacturing processes as well as failure analysis of XLPE cable production processes is a must have

- Expert knowledge and experience with HV testing techniques, applicable international standards, and high voltage test equipment

- Expert knowledge of DC insulation materials and failure analysis techniques, e.g. FMCEA (Failure Mode Cause and Effect Analysis).

- Expert knowledge of HVDC cable accessories and their interface with DC XLPE cable systems.
