OVERVIEW
Hendall is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead a federal government contract focused on improving the effectiveness, efficiency, economy, and quality of services delivered to Medicare beneficiaries. The position requires exemplary communication skills, including with senior-level Government officials, and a track record of providing hands-on management support for highly visible Government programs. Experience leading communications, outreach, and training and technical assistance is required. Subject matter expertise with the programs and initiatives of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is preferred. Please note this is a full-time, hybrid position that requires the project manager to be IN OFFICE on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
DUTIES
Ensure timely completion and delivery of all tasks and products
Facilitate strategic and tactical planning
Provide executive direction to accomplish the work of the contract
Make operational and staffing decisions
Adhere to work timelines and supervise all contract work
Interact with the Government and contractor management for purposes of planning and control of the contract
Advise the Government customer of any difficulties arising from the administration of the contract
Assume responsibility for quality assurance initiatives
Commit to partnering with the Government customer to focus on project quality and program success
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience leading communications, outreach, training and technical assistance, or related initiatives
Experience in the healthcare field (e.g. nursing, pharmacy, lab, etc.)
Experience managing government contracts in a project manager, project director, or similar role
Experience managing teams with more than 20 people and budgets of at least $5 million annually
Experience ensuring adherence to the requirements of a performance-based contract, including meeting the acceptable quality levels of a quality assurance surveillance plan and delivering in accordance with a schedule of deliverables
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively and to establishing and maintaining strong, productive relationships with clients and stakeholders
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Master's degree in public health, healthcare administration, health policy, or a related field
