We are looking for our next star player to join our busy and dynamic Pokerstars Casino tech team. This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices according to your preferences.

In this role, you will be contributing to our cloud-hosted, event-driven microservices based enterprise solutions. This role will take the lead in cross functional engagement, orchestrating collaboration between architecture and engineering, responsible for driving technical directions of multiple teams according to overall brand strategies and initiatives.

WHY WE NEED YOU:

Provide solutions architecture, engineering expertise and technical direction of the game platform teams

Support our Integration projects with the wider Flutter group

Ensure alignment of technology and security principles and standards

Work closely with global and local architecture teams to seamlessly integrate in existing technology and solutions stacks to our new products

Research emerging trends and new technologies to contribute to the overall Engineering team know-how growth

Assistance in the recruitment of engineering teams

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

5 years' experience in a similar Architect role

Ability to generate high level design solutions for production systems and/or proof of concepts for new design guidelines

Strong technical competency with Cloud architecture principles, expertise with production level systems design

Experience working with and designing solutions on AWS

Knowledge of Event Driven architectures, and enterprise grade, high performance design patterns

Define the application, system, and technical architectures for significant areas of development

Define and enforce relevant technical procedures and standards across teams and departments

Take point in researching and developing new software products and applications, contribute to long term cost planning

Oversee developing future component architecture and migration plans

Create, design, prototype new integration solutions in alignment with product roadmap

Able to contribute to generate cross-team roadmap by pointing out dependencies considering cost and effort

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Be an advocate for your team and department
