Java SDET

Our client, one of the largest Amazon Web Services (AWS) partners for data services, is looking for Jr to Senior level SDETs to contribute to join their team of technologists to build and contribute to large-scale, innovative projects. The SDET's responsibilities include both software development and testing tasks and focus on the testability, robustness, and performance of production software. As such, an SDET is a test professional with advanced programming skills who can create automation testing tools and frameworks to assist the manual testing process.

To be successful as an SDET, you should have excellent time management and organizational skills as well as strong communication skills. You should have a passion for designing, development, and testing and the ability to upgrade your technical skills within the constantly changing technology sector.

Must-Haves:

• 3+ years of experience in Java development.

• 1+ years of experience with API testing

• 1+ years of experience in Quality Assurance roles with hands-on testing responsibilities

• 1+ years of experience working with modern UI testing tools such as Cypress, Playwright, etc.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience writing basic SQL queries using joins and aggregate functions

Nice-to-Haves:

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and testing applications running on AWS.

• Demonstrated knowledge of AWS components and architecture (preferably core services such as EC2, S3, RDS, etc.)

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with performance testing using industry standard tools such as Gatling.

• Hands-on DevOps skills

• Knowledge of Continuous Delivery best practices
