Project Scheduler

Overview MBP is looking for a Scheduler in the US east coast area with experience providing schedule development and/or review services on transportation, rail, and vertical construction projects.Proficient in Oracle P6 and experienced with one or more of the following: Microsoft Project, Phoenix Project Manager, or similar is preferred.

Responsibilities Main Duties: * Performs reviews of contractor-submitted baseline and periodic schedule updates for compliance with the specification and overall reasonableness.

* Provides schedule development and updates services for contractors.

* Develops and/or reviews time extension requests.

* Assists with the development and/or analysis of post-construction delay analyses * Analyze drawings, specifications and statement of work in preparation for schedule review services . * Evaluate the actual construction status relative to the proposed plan.

* Analyze and communicate the impact of changes to the schedule.

* Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications Skills and Abilities * Ability to relate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience.

* Detail oriented and can manage multiple priorities with minimal guidance.

* Skilled at developing and maintaining relationships.

* High degree of initiative, personal responsibility, and integrity.

* Proficiency in Primavera (P6) software.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office software programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Education * Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

* 3+ years of scheduling experience on construction projects.

* Specific title based on candidate's education, background, and level of experience.
