Jr. BIM/VDC Specialist (Bilingual – English & Spanish)

Our client company seeks a dynamic Junior BIM & VDC Specialist who is fluent in two languages to join their distinguished civil/concrete construction team.

Summary:

The Junior BIM/VDC Specialist will assist in the implementation of Building Information Modeling and Virtual Design Construction processes, working closely with the BIM/VDC Manager or Senior BIM/VDC Specialist to support on-site construction using VDC. The ideal candidate will analyze designs to create functional models and ensure feasibility, while also conducting quality checks, quantity extraction, clash detection, and resolution. Additionally, the Junior Specialist will visit construction sites to gain insight into concrete construction techniques.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Junior BIM/VDC Specialist must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas to effectively fulfill their role in a safe, efficient, and productive manner. It is important to note that these areas are intended to provide a general overview of the work performed by colleagues in this role and are not exhaustive.

Assist in the creation and maintenance of 3D models under direct supervision.

Support pre-construction activities through visualization and presentations.

Contribute to the research and implementation of construction technology.

Support information technology initiatives.

Ensure a safe work environment.

Participate in training and certification programs.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in a related construction field and limited experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Requires knowledge of 3D/4D/5D BIM and of appropriate platforms
