2nd shift IT Production Control Specialist 3 – IT Operations

The Ohio Public Employees Retirement is seeking an energetic and engaged tech-savvy individual to join our IT Operations team. What you’ll do

In this role, you would be responsible for supporting the development of batch workflows by using dashboards, system messaging, and program logs to ensure timely completion and accuracy of processing. You would actively monitor the real-time performance of our production and development environments. You would troubleshoot task and workflow issues as well as develop, modify, and test and existing batch tasks/workflows, among other duties. If this role sounds interesting to you, apply today!

What you’ll bring

· An associate degree with at least 4 years of experience in IT

· Must have training in operation of IT concepts, operating systems, scripting, and work methods.

· Knowledge of Change Management and Incident Management practices is a plus

· The ability to participate in an on-call second shift schedule. (3pm-11pm & 4pm-12am)

· Strong knowledge of the following is also required:

· Scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.)

· M365 and Teams

· Experience with the following is a plus:

· Networks and databases

· Workflow process design

· Jenkins

· SQL

· Enterprise Scheduling Systems

· File Transmission Protocols (FTP/sFTP/SSH)

· Linux (SUSE, UBUNTU)

· IBM MVS JCL, z/OS Utiltiies
