Onsite Springfield, VA 5 days a week - 25% Travel

Active Top Secret Clearance Required - Ability to obtain an SCI

Responsibilities

We are seeking an Audio-Visual Technician to join our team! In this position, you will provide AV/VTC related duties to a constantly changing, highly secure federal environment.

Requirements

1-2+ years of experience in the installation of AV/VTC systems

1+ years of experience with Crestron systems and/or a Crestron certification is required instead of the hands-on Crestron experience

Demonstrated experience in following schematics for the installation of VTC systems

Demonstrated ability in reading and interpreting system installation drawings and design packages, applying that knowledge to the cabling installation, promoting a safe work environment, and implementing safe work practices

Proficient in the proper handling, installation of LC, MTRJ, and SC connector termination, and testing of fiber-optic and copper cabling systems

Proficient in the installation of various types of cable tray, PDS, and Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT) conduit up to four (4) inches

Possess effective communication skills for coordinating installation work with office personnel and customers

Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to various locations throughout the United States

Education/Certification Requirements

A Crestron certification is preferred, but not required

Clearance Requirements
