We are seeking a highly motivated Demand Planning Specialist ready to make a positive impact on our team!
Duties and responsibilities
Maintain a stable demand planning process by interpreting client forecast demand and backlog, while ensuring revenue targets are met.
Responsible for defining and executing procedures and techniques that develop best-practices in demand planning, while also balancing operational execution and other requirements.
Works closely with sales to obtain sales forecasting and manages forecast performance for sales accountability.
Review minimums on all moving products to adjust need and be sure that increased/decreased demand is met
Manage the day to day of the pre-slit and non-stock inventory system, as well as manage master roll inventories, with the goal of optimizing efficiency and inventory levels for both domestic and container purchases
Daily interaction with our client care team.
Daily review of forecasting in ERP system.
Complete daily management of the sales forecast.
Work daily with job scheduler and the supply chain materials planner.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
Rate: Hourly Rate $27-$31.00
Potential to earn monthly and quarterly bonuses!

Requirements
A bachelor’s degree, ideally in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management or equivalent experience
3 to 5 years of experience in planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
3 years of ERP experience is required. Infor experience highly desired.
Proficiency in MS Office required.
Solid understanding of supply chain and the process flow of materials.
Ability to execute the weekly/monthly planning cycle, maintain long-term forecasts to improve material forecast accuracy.
Extensive knowledge of capacity, materials planning, inventory management
Must be able to recognize, organize and prioritize material issues for timely resolution in a fast-paced environment.
APICS certifications or similar highly desired.
