As a Business Development Manager for our client, a leading real estate marketplace, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue through innovative digital advertising and marketing solutions for the residential real estate industry. We are seeking a dynamic leader with a passion for coaching and mentorship to shape and elevate our sales team.
This role offers a a highly competitive base plus commission package with first year on target earnings approaching $200,000 possible. This opportunity is based in Richmond, VA (paid relocation offered), and is 5 days per week onsite.
Responsibilities:
Foster Growth: Cultivate an environment that encourages the growth of team revenues, meeting and exceeding annual sales targets.
Talent Development: Attract, hire, and develop high-impact sales professionals through coaching and mentorship.
Performance Excellence: Establish performance targets aligning with business goals, providing ongoing coaching and training for enhanced sales effectiveness.
Customer Relationships: Manage new customer relationships and ensure the retention of existing customers through the development of sustainable connections.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales performance, emphasizing the importance of upholding the culture and values within the team.
Qualifications:
Management Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of people management experience.
Sales Leadership: Experience managing 6 to 8 sales professionals in real estate or digital advertising.
Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build sustainable customer relationships.
Growth Mindset: Track record of rapid sales territory growth.
Communication Skills: Effective internal and external relationship-building skills.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
