Position Summary:

We are seeking a talented individual to join my clients team as a Data Analytics Specialist. In this role, you will provide critical analytical support for their portfolio of experimental drugs, collaborating closely with various functional areas including clinical operations, clinical science, biometrics, and external partners. Reporting to the Head of Biometrics, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing ongoing studies, generating insights from completed research, and curating extensive databases to support internal development programs. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

Ensure timely and accurate completion of analytical and programming activities for assigned projects. Plan and execute datasets analysis, utilizing both exploratory techniques and pre-specified requirements. Develop innovative solutions to complex data analysis challenges, leveraging a variety of software tools as appropriate. Generate data visualizations and reports to communicate findings effectively to internal stakeholders and external partners. Support ongoing studies by identifying and addressing data issues, developing key data listings, and assisting with data visualization for safety reports. Create interactive dashboards for real-time data monitoring and analysis. Conduct data mining and integration from various structured and unstructured sources to support research initiatives. Perform integrated PK/PD exposure and safety analyses. Explore the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) techniques for problem-solving. Stay abreast of advancements in the field of Data Science and share knowledge with team members.

Requirements:

Education:

Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, biostatistics, computer science, bioinformatics, or computational biology.

Experience:

5+ years of relevant experience in statistical data analysis within the pharmaceutical industry or academia. Experience with clinical trial data analysis, preferably across phases I to III. Strong project management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Understanding of the drug discovery process and its statistical applications. Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, matrixed environment.

Preferred Experience:

Track record of designing and analyzing clinical trials in a biotech/pharmaceutical industry setting. Hands-on experience with statistical analysis tools and methodologies.
