Description:
Issues, receives, and stores hand tools and other equipment. Keeps an inventory of tools, inspects tools and equipment for wear or defects, and orders new equipment when needed. Maintains records of tool issue, damage to tooling/equipment and use computerized tooling software. May repair small tooling and equipment. Must be able to stock and shelve inventory. Mechanical experience a plus. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Must have computer experience.
Supervision:
Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Education:
May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
