Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Weekends and Holidays required
Provides exceptional guest service and ensures all guest inquires and concerns are addressed promptly
Prepares condiments for appropriate garnishment of beverages
Presents appropriate menus and informs guests of current specials and promotions
Verifies age requirements are met for purchase of alcohol as needed
Prepares beverages according to standard operating procedures
Operates restaurant and bar related equipment including the cash register, point of sale system and telephone
Maintains updated knowledge related to current menu options, preparation methods and techniques, and ingredients
Operates three compartment sinks or dish tank for cleaning glassware
Maintains hand soap and hand towels at hand wash stations
Processes payment transactions following established procedures
Identifies when a customer has reached his/her alcohol consumption limit
Stocks and maintains beer, wine, and liquor inventories to ensure efficient operations
Assists in monitoring and upholding policies and procedures for safety of guests and team members
Assists in maintaining cleanliness throughout the department
Assists team members and other departments as needed to contribute to operational efficiency
Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership
Qualifications
Must meet minimum age requirement as defined by state law
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle stressful situations with poise and professionalism
Conduct work-related functions in a professional manner
