Background:
Cellicure, Inc. is a biotechnology company focusing on the development of innovative cell-based immunotherapies for the treatment of advanced solid and hematological malignancies. We are seeking highly motivated and talented Associate Scientist to join our growing team in Germantown, Maryland.
Position Summary:
The successful candidates will work with a cross-functional team and are responsible for executing a variety of laboratory experiments and analyzing the resulting data to ensure timely completion of the company’s scientific objectives. The candidates will be a result-oriented self-starter with a commitment to teamwork and reliability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform a wide variety of experimental procedures involving cell biology, immunology, biochemistry, and molecular biology techniques.
Ensure all data is appropriately archived; maintain a pristine laboratory notebook detailing all experimental work.
Work collaboratively and effectively with other team members.
Present experimental results at group and project meetings, write progress reports.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in biological science, cell/molecular biology, immunology, or related field, with a minimum of 3 years of work experience in a laboratory setting.
Experience in mammalian cell culture, cell-based assays, and molecular cloning.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to independently execute experiments, analyze/report/present data and collaborate with team members.
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
