Job Description

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for understanding and assist in developing a specified territory to maximize sales for all assigned product lines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop an in-depth knowledge of all applicable product lines and utilize this knowledge to increase sales to new and existing customers.

Work with Territory Sales Manager and report to Company Sales Manager to develop action plans for connective with and developing customer opportunities

Execute sales plans that meet or exceed expectations established by our manufacturers and/or our company by working with our and manufacturer staffs

Weekly travel throughout Central & Western Kentucky and Southern Indiana

Meet regularly with contractors and distributors

Continuously expand customers’ product knowledge through product training.

Build long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with existing and new customers.

Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and prospects and be available and responsive to customer’s real-time needs.

Work effectively with internal support staff to promote sales for new and existing customers

Attend customer and manufacturer meetings and events to promote represented product lines

Complete sales activity reports and presentations as required by represented manufacturers or HBB Pro Sales Group

EXPECTATIONS

Organization: properly manage contact list and calendar and utilize week, month, and annual plans to effectively accomplish territory and/or company goals and identify possible obstacles and solutions

Responsibility: Take responsibility for own successes/failures and accepts challenges

Training/Presenting: Develop a suitable knowledge to product lines to conduct product training with contractor and distributor partners.

Communication/collaboration: Encourage complete communication with contractors, distributors, manufacturers and HBB Pro Sales team members to demonstrate and promote positive relationships
