Property Location: Courtyard by Marriott - Bristol, VA

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Schedules require weekends and shifts require AM & PM as the hotel requirements dictate.

Meets all cleanliness and time requirement standards established for efficient operation of the laundry area

Cleans, dusts, and removes waste in all areas of the laundry area

Replaces or provides required supplies in the laundry room

Maintains an organized area

Provides exceptional guest service and responds promptly to guests' inquiries and concerns

Reports maintenance problems promptly

Handles chemicals and cleaning supplies with care and in accordance with standards

Operates commercial laundry and cleaning equipment

Places laundry in commercial machines for washing and drying

Folds linen - sheets, pillowcases, towels, blankets, and assorted linen on property

Performs all tasks and functions related to laundry and linen care

Maintains appropriately stocked linen and storage rooms

Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership

Qualifications

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to handle stressful situations with poise and professionalism

Conduct work-related functions in a professional manner
