Job Summary Description:

We are seeking a dedicated, team oriented, driven, and efficient Associate Project Manager to join the PURIS Team at our Stone Mountain, GA location. Civil construction experience in Sewer and Water projects highly desired. The role entails working with the Project Manager and/or Superintendent to plan, coordinate, execute, and track all aspects of the project work.

Essential Job Accountabilities:

Assist in the strategic planning of upcoming projects.

Help coordinate and manage projects from inception to completion.

Review of work plans and contribute ideas for cutting costs.

Carry out weekly and daily operational reporting in an accurate and timely manner.

Facilitate communications between office and field staff.

Track and directly report project status updates to project manager.

Help problem solve issues and suggest ways to improve the project.

Organize, file, and maintain all current project documents.

Assist in ensuring compliance with contract specifications.

Help create, manage, and maintain project budget.

Coordinate and execute daily administrative tasks.

Help create and adhere to project timeline and calendar.

Consult with and gather information from inspectors, engineers, subcontractors, etc.

Maintain positive vendor and client relationships.

Ensure project adheres to set schedule and is meeting goals of the client.

Copy TV reports and create labels for DVDs and DVD case and prepare TV reports.

Prepare contract to be closed out with all information required by the customer which include as-built drawings, videos, & punch list.

Maintain job files.

Working on WSSC contracts.

Review subcontractor video, match, and approve the invoices.

Other duties as assigned.

Education & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in construction management or related field preferred

2+ years’ experience in civil construction management

Experience with sewer and water projects a plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Suite

Organized and detail oriented.

Skilled collaborator

Excels in a high-paced work environment.

Strong communication skills both oral and written.

Ability to multi-task effectively

Focused and supportive to management at all times

Self-starter who works well independently

Adaptable and calm under pressure
