Job Title - Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA LTC)

Duration - Contract (13 weeks)

Location - Scottsbluff, NE

shift notes - Days 6 am - 2 pm and Evenings 2 pm - 10 pm Could do 12 hour shifts also

Incidentals provided by facility: Housing Could be provided if needed - can be negotiated.

Mileage Details: Mileage could be reimbursed - can be negotiated.

Purpose of this position

Provide direct care to residents, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with facility policies and procedures and report resident needs and concerns to a licensed nurse.

Qualifications:

Nebraska Registry as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Maintain a minimum of twelve hours of in-services per year.

Must be at least sixteen years of age.

Proficient in English or language understood by residents.

Physical ability for job duties.

Possess interpersonal skills.

Excellent oral and written communication.

Flexible to work at any assigned facility.

Responsibilities:

Provide personal care, assist with feeding and hygiene, record intake, output, and weight changes.

Help with turning, positioning, and transfers, handle medical equipment safely, and maintain cleanliness of resident rooms.

Assist with admissions, ensure a safe environment, and initiate corrective action when needed.

Perform nursing tasks as directed, maintain confidentiality, and document care accurately.

Respond to call lights, complete assignments accurately and on time, and report complaints to Charge Nurse.

Follow care plans diligently, work collaboratively with team members, and maintain professional appearance and punctuality.

Adhere to employee handbook guidelines, infection control, and Resident’s Rights policies, and perform other assigned duties.
