JD Edwards Accounting & Finance Business Analyst (100% Remote)

We are currently seeking a talented JDE Accounting & Finance professional for a (100% remote) Permanent position. Our client is a smaller organization with a strong commitment to utilizing JD Edwards for their Accounting & Finance operations. They are integrated with JD Edwards, running EnterpriseOne 9.2 for inventory, manufacturing, sales orders, and purchase orders. The ideal Candidate will help the organization in unlocking JDE E1 9.2’s full capabilities in regard to Account & Finance, as they are primed and ready for future growth.
Daily Activities:
Playing a pivotal role in managing all aspects of Accounting & Finance to ensure the accuracy of financial statements
Providing essential guidance to executive leadership in areas such as pricing, capacity, and forecasting through financial modeling.
Overseeing full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
Managing cash flow and cash management activities
Implementing effective inventory management and cost accounting practices
Maintaining and tracking Fixed Assets
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, reconciliations, variance/trend analysis, and financial statement preparation
Preparing the annual financial package for corporate tax preparers
Updating and maintaining financial models

Qualifications:
7+ years’ experience as a JD Edwards Accounting & Finance Business Analyst / Consultant
JDE (Accounting) expertise in AP/AR month-end/year-end closings
Strong Sales order, Purchase order, and Manufacturing module experience
Good experience with Microsoft Office
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
Self-motivated and capable of working independently
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Must be authorized to work in U.S without Sponsorship
Additional preferred skills include:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is highly desired
Preferred experience in manufacturing and cost accounting
Strong Excel skills
Consulting background
Ability to support Pacific Time Zone
