The Quality Inspector is responsible for conducting visual and dimensional inspections of plastic molded parts, utilizing precision measuring tools, and ensuring compliance with quality standards while working during the second shift.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Prior experience or training in blueprint reading is beneficial.

Prior experience with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, CMM, etc. is beneficial.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform visual and dimensional inspections of plastic molded parts according to established quality standards and specifications.

Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, and CMM to ensure parts meet specifications.

Record inspection results accurately and maintain inspection records.

Communicate inspection results and quality issues to production and quality control teams.

Follow work instructions, SOPs, and quality procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Identify and report non-conforming parts and take appropriate action.

Assist in troubleshooting quality issues and implementing corrective actions.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Follow safety guidelines and practices to ensure a safe work environment.
