Our client, a leading aviation company, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Manager / IA to join their team. Responsibilities:

Perform regular maintenance on aircraft to ensure safe operations within FAA guidelines.

Inspect and examine engines, wings, propellers, tails, and other parts to identify defects or corrosion.

Consult maintenance manuals and specifications to determine proper operations and specifications for replacements or repairs.

Install new parts to replace or repair defective or recalled parts, ensuring efficient and accurate completion.

Collaborate with airframe and power plant mechanics to repair engines and non-instrumental parts.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and reports related to parts or services.

Perform basic inspections and repairs, troubleshooting mechanical issues as needed.

Ensure proper functioning of engines and operating systems through tests and tools.

Maintain a high level of workmanship and attention to detail in all tasks.

Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Airframe and Powerplant License.

IA License (Inspection Authorization).

Thorough understanding of aircraft parts, systems, and mechanics.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software for record-keeping.

Strong mechanical inclination and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Ability to perform consistently under stressful conditions.

Strong ability to learn new skills and methods of repairs.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, kneel, and work in awkward positions and spaces.

Strong manual dexterity and physical strength to operate tools and make adjustments.

Ability to lift and pull objects weighing up to 70 pounds.

Visual acuity to inspect equipment and identify defects.

Strong hearing ability to test sounds and identify aircraft functioning.
