Progressive Stamping Die Machinist - 3

A manufacturing company is seeking individuals who have experience with the set-up and operation of Progressive Die Stamping Machines. Work hours are from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday with overtime on Saturday when needed.

Duties:

Set-up and run Progressive Stamping Dies in Presses ranging from 60-400 tons

Inspect parts and log information on data sheets

Use coil handling equipment such as servo feeds, automatic straighteners, reels, and conveyors/shakers for scrap removal

Set-up tooling, set die protection sensors, and submit parts for approval

Run parts and perform in process inspection during production using standard measuring instruments

Be able to lift or move up to 35 pounds and pack small containers

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED is preferred but not necessary

Must have 2 to 3 years prior experience in a Metal Stamping environment

Must have the ability to pay a high attention to detail while being safety conscious

Must be comfortable sitting, standing, and moving throughout the shift

Must be dependable with a solid work history
