The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Payroll manager to manage 4 entities through Canada and the US. Positioned at the core of our operations, you will ensure the team is supported through precise payroll processing, effective benefits management, and strict compliance with regulations. This vital role underpins our culture of efficiency and compliance, directly contributing to our strategic objectives.
What You'll Do:
Oversee bi weekly payroll for US and North American payroll.
Administer benefits and 401(k) plans, ensuring compliance and employee satisfaction.
Collaborate with our finance team to maintain accuracy in financial reporting.
Manage HRIS data integrity and professionally address payroll inquiries.
Proactively stay ahead of changes in payroll laws, implementing necessary updates.
Assist the HR team in promoting a positive work environment through various employee-related activities.
Who You Are:
Bringing 10+ years of experience, with a focus on payroll and benefits within union environments in Canada and the US.
Proficient in payroll systems like Paychex, and ADP as well as well-versed in employment laws.
With outstanding interpersonal and analytical skills, you effortlessly navigate payroll and HR challenges with integrity.
