PARTS MANAGER - TRUCK

We are seeking a highly experienced Parts Manager to join our team at our heavy truck dealership in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of parts management experience, preferably overseeing a team of 25-30 personnel.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of the parts department, including inventory management, ordering, stocking, and distribution of parts.

Develop and implement strategies to optimize parts sales and profitability.

Lead and mentor a team of parts personnel, providing guidance and training as needed.

Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing and terms to ensure competitive advantage.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Monitor and analyze parts sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Collaborate with other departments, such as service and sales, to meet customer needs and achieve overall business objectives.Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in parts management within the heavy truck industry.

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a large team.

Extensive knowledge of heavy truck parts and components, with experience working with brands such as Mack, Volvo, Cummins, Detroit, Freightliner, Peterbilt/PACCAR, or similar.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in computerized inventory management systems.
