As a Production Associate at ISRI, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of our mobile interiors. You will be joining a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to delivering flawless products and maintaining our reputation as a technological pioneer in the industry.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor machinery and equipment to produce mobile interiors according to specifications and quality standards.

Perform repetitive line or bench assembly operations to mass-produce products, such as height adjusters, suspensions, and complete commercial seating systems.

Work with different types of tools and materials

Transfer materials between locations on production floor

Perform checks throughout the production process to identify issues or defects.

Follow production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, production requirements, and customer demands.

Perform standardized work, per work instructions as well as follow other production procedures.

Understand and implement product quality standards both internal and externally (customer specific requirements).

Work with autonomy to stop production builds and shipment of products due to product quality concerns.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve production processes and implement cost-effective measures.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety guidelines and regulations.

Notify management of any technical or mechanical issues that may arise during production.

Adherence with Lean principles and IMS standards.

Support continuous improvement initiatives by actively participating in team meetings and providing feedback on process enhancements.

Ensure that health and safety laws are followed.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in manufacturing or production, preferably in the automotive industry, is preferred but not required.

Excellent knowledge of equipment used in the manufacturing process.

Experience with using hand tools and other forms of machinery.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to use production software and tools.

Ability to stoop, kneel, reach, bend, walk and stand for extended periods of time.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common instructional documents. Ability to respond with good verbal and written communication.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measures.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
