RequirementsWhat do we need?

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager (TPM) with expertise in software development, particularly in the realm of ML products and AI features. The TPM will play a critical role in driving the development and delivery of innovative software solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and with the highest level of quality.Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Management:

Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, for ML/AI software development projects.

Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and define project goals and success criteria.

Proactively identify and mitigate risks, anticipate potential issues, and develop contingency plans to ensure project success.

Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery.

Exhibit strong product judgment and the ability to make informed decisions that align with both company goals and client needs.

Team Collaboration and Leadership:

Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.

Provide guidance and support to team members, removing obstacles and resolving conflicts as needed to keep projects on track.

Empower and work closely with the project team, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes strong partnerships with client team members.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Communicate project status, updates, and deliverables to stakeholders, including executives, clients, and external partners, through regular meetings and reports.

Solicit feedback from stakeholders to validate requirements, gather insights, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Manage client relationships, handling expectations with professionalism, tact, and resilience.Requirements:

A minimum of 7 years of experience in technical project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivered projects.

Previous corporate experience is required, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in or with pharmaceutical companies.

Demonstrated experience working with large cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder expectations, and leading through influence rather than authority.

Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, with a keen emphasis on detail, process, and communication.

Experience in client-facing roles, with the capacity to manage demanding clients and maintain positive, productive relationships.

Ideal candidate would be located on the West Coast, preferably in the Bay Area, to align with the Pacific Time Zone and facilitate seamless collaboration with remote and on-site team members.
