Job Qualifications

Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.

Requires a master’s degree in a related field such as behavior analysis, psychology, or education.

Experience in or knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Knowledge of or experience with providing educational instruction and support to children and youth with developmental disabilities.

Experience interacting with children in a variety of roles, functions, and environments.

Experience with intake assessments, including obtaining and reviewing prior medical records, performing patient intake interviews, and managing new patient forms.

Knowledge of the laws related to the privacy and security of medical information as established in the HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).

Duties:

Administering assessments, providing counseling services, or knowledge of behavioral health theories.

Researching and gathering objective and accurate information relevant to subjects of interest.

Interacting with children in a variety of roles, functions, and environments.

Working with individuals with autism.

Intake assessments, including obtaining and reviewing prior medical records, performing patient intake interviews, and managing new patient forms.

Treating or working with individuals with developmental disabilities

Developmental & Rehabilitative Services 2, Inc is an outpatient clinic providing physical, occupational and speech therapy services to birth to 21. We employ licensed physical therapists, Occupational therapists and SLP who are experts in assessing and determining the need of every child treated at DRS2.

We provide quality, patient-focused care with great attention to each patient’s individual needs. At Developmental & Rehabilitative Service, we get to know our patients, and work with them one-on-one, helping them reach their maximum gross/fine motor capabilities.
